I just saw that Sourcebooks is re-releasing Susan Kays book about Elizabeth 1, "Legacy".  - http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9781402238680-Legacy+The+Beloved+Novel+of+Elizabeth+Englands+Most+Passionate+Queen+and+the+Three+Men+Who+Loved+Her

They are also re-releasing Cynthia Harrod-Eagles long series in new trade paperbacks, starting with "The Founding" - http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9781402238154-The%20Founding

Then, "The Dark Rose" - http://http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9781402238161-The+Dark+Rose

They are also doing Winston Graham's "Poldark" series, books by Margaret Campbell Barnes, R.F. Delderfield, and Georgette Heyer, plus there are probably others that I haven't found yet.

I'm just so glad that someone is working hard to re-release so many great OOP historical fiction books! I'd love to gather the Eagles series in nice, new trade paperbacks! I just hope enough people buy them to keep Sourcebooks interested in publishing the whole series.

SO weird that you just mentioned this, as I just picked Legacy for my "year of birth" challenge.

Legacy is awesome. It's so good to see Sourcebooks bringing out these old titles, although I think the cover for Brothers is a bit out of place. Ringletts?

They've also published several Du Maurier titles (yay!) and I believe there's some more coming like Margaret Irwin. No Pamela Belle sightings yet.

I forgot about Du Maurier and Irwin and I actually have books by both of them that have been published by Sourcebooks.

I really, really wish someone would do Valerie Anand's "Bridges Over Time" series! Anand is still writing books though, isn't she? I wonder how that would work.

I'm going to start buying these re-releases new from Sourcebooks because I want to encourage them to keep on printing them. I'm definitely going to buy the Delderfield ones soon to give to a family member as a gift. He'll be thrilled that these beloved books are back again!

Misfit, do you know if there is a page at the Sourcebooks website that lists future re-releases? Or, a good website somewhere that would give info like copyrights that have been bought, OOP books that are being republished, that sort of thing??? I've searched, but I know nothing about publishing and I'm just not sure where to even start looking to find the info I want.

Seceral months ago, I found a blog that listed books that had been bought by publishing houses and were being released, but now I can find the blog again. Does anyone know of a blog like this?

I don't know if there's a Sourcebooks page but I think Daphne might. She's right on top of their new releases as is Amy at Passages to the Past. I'd like to see Anand's Gildenford series reissued, that is excellent. I haven't been too fond of the Exmoor series she's doing now. Boring boring boring.

So many books I'd like to see back in print. MM Kaye's Shadow of the Moon and Trade Wind. Valerie Fiztgerald's Zemindar. I've just discovered Stella Riley and her books are obscenely expensive and I only got lucky over at Amazon UK. Damn lucky. Elizabeth Goudge.  There is so much really good stuff out there although I warn you - once you start reading that stuff it's hard to come back to some of our current *cough* latest and greatest historical fiction authors. I just cannot see why everyone goes ga-ga over Robin Maxwell and Sandra Worth. *shudders*

I just found one of the R.F. Delderfield re-releases done by Sourcebooks here!!! Awesome! I just hope it really is the new release and not an old edition that was posted wrong. Oh, I hate it when people do that!

Here is a link for the Historical Novel Society's web site that lists upcoming books:

http://www.historicalnovelsociety.org/forthcoming.htm

Other than this, I don't know of one place that lists the information - I wish I did!  I feature upcoming releases on my blog every week (Weekly Wishlist - usually one or two posts a week) but I spend an awful lot of time looking for them from a variety of sources.

Colleen, I read somewhere that the Angelique books are going to be re-printed, but there were no further details about it then. I think the author recently won a lawsuit which granted the rights of the books back to her so that she could have them re-released. Maybe the last couple that were never translated into English will finally be translated for us, that would be great!

The HNS is a great resource! I love getting emails from them, but I then spend way too much time checking out all of the books they mention. ;-)
