Traditional southern recipes, made lite. Lots of recipes from the South with Louisiana recipes mixed in. Good recipes if you are watching your cholesterol, want to lose weight or just practice good nutrition.
Lots of recipes, here are a few:
Cream of broccoli soup, Cold spinach soup, Four vegetable soup, Fish gumbo,
Chicken & rice salad, Fruit salad, Marinated green beans, Stir fry beef salad, Cajun style fish,Onion smothered pork tenderloin, Crawfish jambalaya, Seafood stuffed eggplant, Chicken & dumplings, Spinach stuffed chicken rolls, BBQ pork skewers, Oven fried okra, Creole black eyed peas, muffins, cornbread, cakes, cookie, brownies, cobblers, breads, pies, a section that is just for kids and a nutritional section.
Nice book, it was featured on CNN and The Home Show.
