I give this book about 3 1/2 to 4 stars. I really enjoyed the majority of the book, but the end fell short. The imagery in this book is amazing and the story is unique. I was instantly hooked from the first page and had really high hopes for the book.

The characters were all enjoyable which is amazing considering they are mostly demons. It seemed to me that the angel in the story was more evil than the demons. There is a love story in this book, but it seemed more to me like an afterthought than the main storyline.

I did enjoy this book for the most part, but it hit a certain point where it felt like the author just got tired of writing. The ending was disappointing. The whole book builds up for something crazy and then it just drops off. It held the potential for something epic, but failed to deliver.

It was a good read, but could have been great.
