I rec'd a "wish granted" message, so I hopped over and accepted the offer. Then I noticed a PM. It was the owner of the WL book asking me to cancel the request because the book was supposed to be on vacation hold.  I wrote back that I had already accepted it, and that I think I will lose my place in line if I cancel the request. Isn't that right?  I don't think there are tons of people in line for the book (it's an older kid's book), so chances are I would get the offer again, but I still don't think I should be the one to cancel the order.  Am I correct?

Yes--they can always re-list the book once they get back from vacation hold, but if you cancel and add the book back to your WL, you go to the end of the line.
