Spell Bound
Author: Ru Emerson
Young Prince Conrad had never seen such a beautiful maiden. Her name was Sofia, and she was bewitching, beguiling and bewildering. It was as if she had cast a spell on him. But was it true love -- or a dark, powerful sorcery as tempting and inescapable as evil itself?

Very enjoyable. Story is build around the Cinderella story....there is a prince, two evil step-sisters and a step-mother....but instead of a fairy-godmother there is a witch setting up the cinderella-like character with a dress, shoes, coach and access to the ball. Set in mid-evil times where witches use green-magic to help peasants and local crops, and sorcerers use gold-magic and are employed by the wealthy and military. A time of swords and basic firearms, and of horses and carriages. Just enough magic and fantasy combined to keep the reader from assuming this is just another Cinderella story.
