I just saw a tag that I considered a spoiler for the plot of the book. Can anything be done about that?

On a related note ...  I've seen a couple of books tagged as taking place in  the wrong country. I've added my own tag "here NOT there", but was wondering if it's possible to either have a tag removed, or relay a message why they should be?

I don't have any control over tags. I started the missions so that we could get more useful tags on books, but I can't control whether the tags are accurate or not, or what information they contain.

The way to "remove" the bad tags would be to add other tags (15, I think) and have more than one person use that tag. Then those tags would be most frequently used and push the bad tag from the front page display.

ETA: I just confirmed that the top 15 tags are the ones shown on the front page.

yep top fifteen tags.

so to outrank those poor/spoiler/incorrrect tags -- people need to do good tagging!

and Jane's missions are great ways to get that started!

When you see the bad tags, it might help to post them, so that others can help make them go away.
