This was a good book. Angel and Jeremy clash at first meeting. He wants to buy her land, she doesn't want to sell and runs him off. She dresses like a man and that turns a lot of those male minded men against her. The land is in a drought and she has a creek across her land with plenty of water and green grass to feed her sheep. Terrible thing in most of their minds as they raise cattle and hate sheep. Waste of good grass and water. She stands her ground. She gets stabbed, two sheep killed, dogs legs broken, shot at, an attempted hanging. Jeremy at first doesn't like her, calls her a mountain woman and persues the bankers daughter. He comes around. Its a slow moving story but it is good. If you liked the one about Letty and Eric and Phobe and Adrian, you will like this one too. Enjoy.
Almost as good as the first two in this series, this time we see a Christian man who has to make hard choices in line with his values, even at the risk of being misunderstood. Another recommend from Ginny Aiken.
