I have a paperback that is 15 years old, pages are nice and tight, binding is still in good shape.  But, there is a staining on the outside edges on the 3 paper sides that is tannish- speckled looking.  The inside front and back cover also have this tan coloring on them, darker close to the binding.  The opening title pages have it, also- but I don't believe it's water damage because the pages aren't warped at all.  Does anyone have an idea what it could be ?

Victoria, I believe what you are describing is "foxing".

It's ok to post books in this condition, but be aware that others might think it's stains.

Yes, foxing is OK to post. But vampsita is right, some people might think it is stains. I think you can post it, but when it gets ordered you might want to PM first and find out if the requestor is OK with it.
