I just got a WL book that has a receipt stapled to the front cover - should I mark this RWAP?  I'm not sure what the criteria is for that, or if it matters if I can remove it w/out messing up the front cover.  This is a WL book, and I planned on sending it back through the system the same as I did the first one, but now I'm not sure I'll be able to.  I just wanted to double check before I marked the book received.

Thanks!!

I think its postable.

You should be able to carefully remove the staple leaving 2 pinpricks in the cover.

Generally, if I think if a problem is repairable, then I don't RWAP it. Like if the cover has something sticky on it, but it comes off.

Thanks!  That's what I thought, but I wanted to double check.  I wasn't going to ask for my credit back if it wasn't repostable, but this book has a lot of others on the WL so I'd like to be able to pass it on.

I would think it would be postable... since the staple holes would be small.  Just be REALLY careful.  That is weird though.

I would actually leave the staple in the book myself.  That way the next person knows what the holes are from because they could look like an animal bite with the staple removed.

"...because they could look like an animal bite with the staple removed."

And then people would think you had a pet vampire bat...

Why, oh why would someone staple the receipt to the book?

Even with just a small pin hole now, it has the potential to rip in time.

It's just a little pinprick.  There'll be no more "AHHHHHHHHHHH" but you make feel a little sick.

(nothing like some Floyd to get the morning started off right!)

How did you know?  I try and keep him away from the books, but he's a tricky little fella!  I guess it's all those paranormal books filling up my "libarary"  :)
