I was a little hesitate about this book at first because I thought it would be too predictable. I was pleasantly surprised. There were different story lines going on with some colorful characters. There were real-life situations that the pastor and his wife were dealing with . I didn't think it was too syrupy. I'm looking forward to reading the second book.
