Kieran Macalester's mission was simple: retrieve Garland Humble's estranged wife within one month or be turned over to the authorities as a wanted man. Posing as a representative for an upstart opera company, the handsome rogue easily lured the beautiful young Geneva Lionwood into his trap. But one look at the graceful soprano had Macalester singing a different tune. And somewhere between New YOrk and Fort Worth, Texas, he found himself unable to resist the lure of her slender body or her passionate kisses. Even with a bounty hunter hot on his trail, and knowing Geneva would find out the truth about his past, he had to admit that they made beautiful music together. Now the virile bandit would have to commit one last crime--stealing her heart--before he could have her forever by his side.

The hero, Kiernan must produce another man's estranged wife or go to jail. Kiernan thinks this will be a simple job, kidnap the woman since she has a beautiful voice, and claim to represent an opera company. But this lady is more than he bargained for. He gets twisted into a mess that he has a hard time trying to figure out what to do. This is a good mystery romance.
