While this is a very interesting story, since the Secret Service was involved, the associated story of counterfeiting was even more interesting. I did not know almost 50% of all money circulating in the U.S. in the 1860s-70s was counterfeit.

I really enjoyed this book. I had heard of the incident before but had never read much in depth about it. Being from Illinois, I have visited Lincoln's tomb many times and always feel a sense of awe knowing that he is buried there. The book was well written and researched plus had photos (which I always think add to the story).
