I'm looking to branch out from the regular authors that I read. Can anyone suggest some authors for me to check out? Even some titles that ya'll have enjoyed? I prefer the steamier romance novels. Thanks for your help!

Do you like Historical or contemporary?  Are you looking for steamy or erotica?

For steamy historical I like: Lisa Kleypas and Elizabeth Hoyt (if you have never read her books start with the Raven Prince, excellent!)  Historical erotica: Sylvia Day or Marissa Day.

I don't read too much contemporary, but authors that come to mind are Lori Foster, Jill Shalvis, Carly Phillips, Deirdre Martin, Erin McCarthy, Bella Andre etc.

I suppose I'm more into the contemporary, because that's all I've ever read. Maybe I will try the historical. Thanks!

For historicals, try some old ones.  Like Skye O'malley by Bertrice Small.

For contemporary try Lora Leigh and her Black/Special OPs series.  I think it starts with Wild Card.

For steamy contemporaries I would try Linda Howard, Shannon McKenna, Victoria Dahl (who also does historicals), Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Megan Hart (erotica).

I just finished a Linda Howard last night ,and shes is steamy. And for sure Shannon Mckeena.I have most of hers on my Keeper shelf. but thoses are mild compared to the erotica. So how steamy do you like them...LOL

I've always thought for historical steamy . Linda Lael Miller is good.

Toni Blake, Robin Kaye, and Jo Davis have some pretty good steamy stuff in their books.  Try the Firefighters of Station 5 series by Jo Davis- hottt!

Lisa Marie Rice's Midnight series is pretty good.

Steamy historical-Diane Whiteside.  Evangeline Collins.  Both are steamy and well written.  Agree with the Elizabeth Hoyt too.

If you're open to paranormals, J R Ward and Laura Adrian can steam things up, too!

I agree with the Skye O'Malley recommendation!  (As well as Bertrice Small's other books).

Do you like sailors?  (I do!)  Try Suzanne Brockmann - she has several steamy series featuring Navy Seals.
