I posted ten of the books of this series by Janet Evanovich to my bookshelf last night.  If you need any to complete the series or to start the series check them out.  I've read lots of great reviews of these books but I just couldnt get into them.  Just not for me but many others love them and say they're hysterically funny.

I just wanted to chime in and say that I'm so glad I've found someone else who didn't care for them!  I thought I was the ONLY ONE!  I only read her first one but I didn't see what was so funny about it.  So many people just rave about those books so I thought I was totally missing something....just had to say that I'm glad I'm not alone!

I know I kept reading it thinking its got to get better for me.  But different styles of writing for different people.  I'm glad I have them to trade to people who will appreciate them!

I have #'s 10, 11 & 12, plus 8.5 if anyone is looking for them to complete their set.  I'd be glad to work a deal, just PM me.

Thanks,   Shellie

Lynn,

My ladies Bibles study group would love to support a servicewoman.  We've had a couple of male pen pals but it is not easy for a single women's group to know how to encourage them.  I think the things they liked best were the homemade cookies and the beef jerkey.  :O) I"ll pm you for her addy.

Also, what kind of books do you like?  I've enjoyed the Petsitter mysteries and some by Aleshia Halladay (sp?)

Shellie, I do read a variety of books;  from Nicholas Sparks, James Patterson, Danielle Steel, Debbie Macomber, Fern Michaels, Jodi Picoult, etc, etc................Some of these (Patterson, Picoult) are new to me since I joined PBS and I tried Evanovich but just couldnt get into them....

You're right, the troops love the jerky (I've made homemade jerky and sent it) and cookies.............
