This book is very touching. It told a lot of stories I was already familiar with, but included lots of amusing and enlightening details. This book was clearly written by a woman in love, and about what she loved - both Steve and the work they did together. While Terri may not be an accomplished or entirely poetic writer, it's clear that her heart is in this book, and because of that it is a very worthwhile read.

I don't usually write reviews for books - just something I don't usually do; but this book, wow! I'm also not a usual fan of biographies but again, wow!

The Crocodile Hunter was someone I enjoyed watching and was terribly saddened,as all the world, at his passing. Mrs. Irwin gives such a wonderful picture of her life and that of hers with her husband. What a wonderful testament to their love for one another and their family.

Thank you for sharing Mrs. Irwin.

What a wonderful biography! This might be my favorite Christmas present of '07. It is a loving tribute to a wonderful "wildlife warrior." A definite must read for any fan of the show.

Wow! I enjoyed every moment of anything I saw the Croc Hunter do. So, I was interested in reading this book by Terri. No way was I prepared to read it straight through in two hours!!! Terri's writing is engaging, and friendly, completely the personality that comes across on the screen. The stores entwine her and Steve's lives, boith seperately and together. Their vision for Australia Zoo is presented throughout the fascinating stories and ties it all together. The glimpses into their family life are heartwarming and very real. I have great trouble describing how this one book is a an autobiography, a biography, a wildlife adventure, and a love story. But somehow it is, and beautifully so.
The world lost a true Hero with the death of Steve Irwin. But his work continues through Terri, Bindi, and Bob and the staff at Australia Zoo.
Terri Irwin has done a fabulous job and authored a book that truly honors her husband.

This is a wonderful and touching tribute to the life of Steve Irwin, written by his wife, Terri. Reading this really made me appreciate Steve and miss him all over again. Terri is an incredible person and the love she and Steve shared really shines through in this book. Be prepared to cry before this book ends.

I really enjoyed reading about Terri Irwin's life before and after she met Steve. I had no idea she hat a pet cougar in Oregon. I found her tribute to Steve very touching, especially the love he had for his children. The photos in the book encompass who Steve was and his life. I recommend this book to fans of Steve Irwin and his work with wildlife.
