Thank you Jeanne for the wonderfully smart idea to post a sign up for train 9 as train 8 is finishing up :) This should definitely help make turn around quicker. Thank you to Sophia (Train 8's card receipient) for already getting the Train 9 card and volunteering to start it. Welcome aboard Sticker Train 9! Please sign up here (even if you are currently on Train 8) or PM me by Sunday, July 3rd to join in some summer sticker fun. Once everyone has signed up, I will double check my list of who has gotten a card (from those aboard) and we'll figure out where Train 9 is heading that way :) Thank you everyone, as always any/alll questions or suggestions are welcome! Hi Debbie, that's it in a nutshell :) We also send around a card to be signed by each person aboard for the person who is the last stop. For example, pretend the train route order is Mickey, Donald, Pooh Bear, and Dumbo. Mickey,the first person, either buys or makes a card for Dumbo. At each stop along the way to Dumbo (Donald and Pooh Bear) each friend signs Dumbo's card. When the sticker train gets to Dumbo, he has a card signed by Mickey, Pooh Bear, and Dumbo. For the next train, he (Dumbo) chooses who the card is for (depending who is participating that has yet to receive a card signed by everyone) Fun way to get a card from lots of friends at one time :) Oh when the last person receives the train, it is up to them what to do with all the stickers. Sometimes there are a TON and postage adds up as you know. When that happens, the end person may share a lot of the stickers and/or donate some to their church. The new train that starts may begin completely fresh or with just a handful of stickers from previous trains. The idea is definitely to allow everyone on board to see the most variety of new stickers, we just also want to try and keep postage in check, too :) ETA: We do ask that when you are picked as the card receipient, you kindly begin the next train. Also helps make this easier to keep track of and so everyone has a turn to both start and receive a card :) Hope this makes sense and please any other questions most welcome. If you need more stickers, LarkspurJane, let me know :D Big hooray you are joining us! :) Please sign up by tonight anyone else who wishes to travel this train. Sophia will choose the card receipient and we will get this train 9 moving down the tracks shortly :) ETA this beautiful Sunday, I just closed sign ups.
