The novels of D. E. Stevenson, like the wonderful Emilie Loring series, are "pure reading pleasure."« less
Published in 1959. While this book is listed as a romance, it is so much more! The story is set in the English/Scottish border country. D.E. Stevenson is a wonderful writer and you will be swept away to a time and place that you won't forget. I highly recommend her as an author.
