This is an excellent sequel to Loretta Lynn's book Coal Miner's Daughter. It tells more of her story, including her very turbulent marriage, and some the many losses she has lived through. Loretta Lynn is one of the strongest women I have ever read about.

I never knew that Loretta Lynn went through so much in her personal life. No wonder she could write songs that touched the heart! This book is about after the movie "Coal Miner's Daughter" but also gives memories from all her life that weren't told about in her first book, from which the movie was made. I really enjoyed it. She is a real story teller, and one of those people who knows how to laugh at herself.
