I picked this mystery up with a box lot at a garage sale and it sat unread for months because the cover put me off. I was pleasantly surprised when I read it to find it was about old books about the Southwest going to the New Mexico University library collection that were stolen. Since I lived in Tucson for 5 years working at tne University of Arizona, and love to read, I was enchanted with the desert and mountain descriptions, the university library setting, and the characters of the librarians and book dealers. The mature, divorced heroine was appealing and her internet searches for the stolen books fascinating. There are side mysteries of inheritance, murder and faked identity also.
