A fantastic sequel to "A Kiss of Fate." A must read for lovers of magic and unicorns!
This book has a great plot which is easy to follow and intriguing at the same time.
A good book with a nice paranormal/historical theme. I liked it even though I'm not into historical type romances any longer. From the back of the book:
Simon, Lord Falconer, is an enforcer of laws for the Guardians, humans with magical powers derived from nature. While on a mission to confront a rogue Guardian who is using his powers in a harmful way, he is caught in a transformation spell. A captive woman, Meg, who has been ensorcelled by the evil Lord Drayton, comes to Lord Falconer's rescue and he in turn rescues her.
They join forces to defeat the evil Drayton--and in the process unleash the more ancient magic of passion. Only in a desperate act of love may they win back the future from Draytons diabolical plans--or destroy all they hold dear.
One of those books that when you start it, you can't put it down!!
I was very disappointed with this book. It's classified as Science Fiction, but should be listed as Romance.
I could see most everything coming from a mile away.
Magical, Georgian, intrigue and danger.
A treat to read.
Magic, mystery, romance. A good read.
Second in the Guardian series.
Mary Jo Putney is one of my favorite s. Her books never disappoint. Love this series.
