Mediocre suspense novel - ultimately left me disappointed. This book definitely had twists and turns throughout the story. And the story itself was interesting enough to keep me reading it. A girl and her sister abducted; only the girl returns. That said, I have to admit that I figured out the final twist about half-way through the book. The author did her best to throw the read off-track, adding a detail here or there that makes you re-think who it might be.

Definitely a good read that keeps you hooked! Betrayal, murder, old ghosts and loves all add up to a fun thriller. Definitely recommended.

Excellent story. Kept me in suspense right up to the final pages. i usually figure them out before the mystery ends but not this one. Karen Harper out did herself on this one.

This is one of her more interesting books--the characters are fairly interesting and likeable.

Sixteen years ago sisters Jenna and Amanda Kirk disappeared. Days later, Jenna was found wandering around alone with no memory of what had happened and no knowledge of her sister's fate. Now desperate to uncover the truth about that night, Jenna returns to Stone County.
