This book was very suspenseful and keep me reading and turning pages as fast as I could go. In this book, Deirdre leaves her spoiled ways behind as she finds herself the propery of a slave trader. She learns life-changing lessons that eventually help her to become a responsible and caring leader, mother, and wife. Most importantly, she learns to serve God and follow His plan for her life.
