JoBeth's sister dies and she thinks it shouldn't have been her. JoBeth is the smart one helping her father in the useum. She decides to change and learn to ride a horse like her sister. She meets secretive, lonely Luke who teaches her to ride and helps her overcome her fear of living too.
We used this as part of Beautiful Feet's Horse History homeschool curriculum. My daughter loved it. It is an excellent story.
