Laugh out loud funny! You don't have to live in the South to enjoy Celia Rivenbark's books. And good if you're the type of person who only gets to read books a little bit at a time. Each chapter is its own little Southern jewel. And no subject is sacred!

This book is absolutely hilarious when read aloud with a southern draw! Try it! My Mom recently had a stroke and one of the things they said to do was read to her.... She was laughing so hard! Delightful!

Delightful and sassy collection of columns from humorist Celia Rivernbark, ranging from her attempts to raise a daughter without putting her into thong panties and sequined belly shirts at the age of six, through soap opera addiction and telephone "help" lines that don't.
