Not as good as his stories for adults (Gimpel the Fool, for instance), but OK. I give this book 3 stars, but those of the Jewish faith might appreciate the book more than I did.

SOME of the stories presented here are: The Elders of Chelm and Genendel's Key * Mazel and Shlimazel * Why Noah Chose the Dove * Zlath the Goat * A Hanukkah Eve in Warsaw * The Folls of Chelm and the Stupid Carp * Rabbi Leih & the Witch Cunegunde * The Parakeet Named Dreidel * Shlemiel the Businessman * Hunakkah in the Poorhouse * and The Cat Who Thought She Was a Dog & The Dog Who Thought He Was a Cat
