An interesting book. Based in Scotland, you may need to look up some of the words used. The uncommon terminology makes it rather cumbersome to read at times.

EXCITING STORY.

Great book about the hunt for a serial killer. The first victim was found in a public park. Her body stabbed repeatedly, her hands & feet removed with clean surgical precision. Tied to her chest, a coiled black snake....lots of twists & turns.

An very strong procedural/thriller with a number of divergent plot points that come together nicely, if not terribly convincingly. The first few pages are one of the most gripping kick offs for any book I've read. Just wish the ending had been a little stronger. Also, although not toted as a sequel to Starling's "Messiah," this book clearly follows the first and gives away a few of "Messiah"s more important plot twists.
