One of the things the author deals with is theme which is both a simple thing and a complex thing. I always had trouble with it, but this book helps you work toward understand in your theme in steps, breaking it down in a way that not only helps you figure it out, but gives you tools to help you focus your story. At least it did for me.
Highly recommend it.
