While an interesting book, it was not what I expected. I guess I should have read the description more closely. I wanted a book about the world history of rats. Although there was some history, what I got was a book about behavioral scientists and their experiments on rats to understand rat and human behavior.

I had to read some of B.F. Skinner's work in college, and he was not my favorite read. So you can expect my reaction when the author discusses Skinner's work and I don't have to read him.

And I'm not sure the subtitle is accurate. However, it is a quick read.
