I say: This classic tale from the famous early 20th century author Henry van Dyke makes for engrossing reading. And while engrossed, you learn many important lessons. A fourth Wise Man sets out to see the baby Jesus but never quite makes it because he is continually called aside to do the hard, important, loving works Jesus wants him to do. Years later he does see Jesus - at the crucifixion. And all along the way, traveling most unwillingly beside the fourth wise man, a servant longs for freedom. The crucifixion impacts him, too.

This is a wonderful christmas story that warms the heart and is easy to read.
Fictional account of a fourth Wise man who saw the Star rise in the East and set out to follow it. He did not arrive with his bretheren however.
