I really enjoyed this book as you can tell from the star rating. Only knocked a little off the 5 star rating because a couple of the threads in the story were fairly predictable. But, the whole book was a little like an onion with additional layers of the story coming out at different times, some of which were quite emotional. It does have Christian themes woven through the story as well, but in a more subtle way. The MC is a young woman who seemingly has it all, beauty, wealth, a successful husband, a beautiful home, and she takes it all almost for granted. She has a bit of Scarlett O'Hara in her personality so when something comes along that might upset the balance she just shoves it away for "another day." Then the unthinkable happens and, try and she may, she cannot just bury this for another day. Through the providence of God, although she doesn't see it that way, never having given God much thought, she meets people who challenge her to break out of her ice castle world and live life. It takes her to some amazing places, many of which she'd rather not go, but in the end she realizes that she, like everyone else, cannot really live life without some risk and messiness.

This was a great book, it kept me going with enough twists and turns. The ending wasn't that great but the plot and story line were great. Well worth reading!!
