I was born in Bulgaria, and although I grew up about 10 years after the author did, I found the writing so real and so accurate of what life was in Bulgaria in the '80s and '90s. I breezed through the book and I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested to find out more about the Bulgarian culture and lifestyle. Intriguing and though-provoking read!!!!
