My 8 and 10 year olds are really enjoying this book! They keep wanting me to "read more!"
Mr. Watson looked at the clock. Somehow it had gotten to be nine o'clock. Decaf and Scrabble will do that.... I could see the cogs of his mind whirling away: Should he keep me up too late just to answer my question? Or should he send me home without answers.
An old soldier, a loving grandmother, a straight-talking science teacher, and Arby Jenkins all want one thing for Stuart Baltz-to get him to stop running from God. But Stuart is more interested in making a name for himself in cross-country and living with his mom in peace. Then old Mr. Watson gives him something to read - somthing that Stuart is afraid to believe - something far too important for him to ignore.
About the Author:
Sharon Hambrick loves writing for young people in Stuart's Run to Faith, she draws from her experience as a middle school teacher to deal sympathetically with the conflicts of a young person.
