This is the first book in DeHart's "Ladies' Amateur Sleuth Society". Fun book taking a look at the emergence of modern day forensics such as fingerprinting, etc. A fun book that isn't your typical Historical English book being set in the late 1800's versus 1812-1830 as is typical of so many romance novels.
I could not even finish this book the writing was so disjointed. It is pure fluff, and the characters seem to have ADD when it comes to their conversations. The plot had the potential to be good, but it was ruined by the nonsensical conversations of the characters. Seriously, no one has conversations like that.
