I've enjoyed other thrillers by this author, but this one was so awful I almost couldn't finish it. The characters and situations were not believable, not by a long shot, and the plot seemed driven by needing to get the story over with rather than its own internal momentum. Sorry I did finish it, at the end.
A good addition to this series!
