I asked this over in the biography/memoir section but that's not nearly as busy as here.   I would love to read an interesting biography about some of the suffragettes.  Does anyone have any to reccomend?

I liked Jane Addams' autobiography Twenty Years at Hull House.  In some ways it's not a particularly well-crafted book, but it was really interesting, and I especially liked the parts about trying to bring about "crazy" new ideas like hauling away trash in the city.  Or were you particularly interested in British suffragettes?

Oh no, I was looking more for American ones.  This book sounds interesting.  Thanks for the suggestion!

Funny, I just received one of those fwd.fwd.fwd's this morning that was actually interesting and had these links, if you might be interested.
