Hi there all~

I'm looking to expand my "library" of YA vampire/fantasy type books. I've read a fair amount of them already including these books/series:

Vampire Academy, House of Night,  Blue Bloods, Mortal Instruments, Twilight, Sweep, Daughters of the Moon, Tamora Pierce's Trickster series,.. and.. I can't think of any others right now! lol.

I also have some on my Wish List.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'd love to hear what vampire/other fantasy books you all loved!

Thanks so much! <3

I've recently read Need and Captivate by Carrie Jones (series about pixies) and enjoyed them.

Chloe Neill has a new series called Dark Elite. First two books are Firespell and Hexbound. I'ved read Firespell and liked it. Getting Hexbound this weekend. On another note her Chicagoland Vampire Series is awesome! Not YA but they are really good!

Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine

Maximum Ride series by James Patterson

Strange Angels series by Lili St. Crow

Demon's Lexicon Trilogy by Sarah Rees Brennan

My favorites are Glimmerglass and Shadowspell by Jenna Black

I liked Firelight by Sopie Jordan a lot too. The Poison series by Maria Vl. Snyder is good too.

Amelia Atwater-Rhodes has some awesome vampy books.  Know that she wrote the first one at 15, but after that, you couldn't tell they were written by a teenager.

The Wicked Lovely Series by Melissa Marr

Wake, Fade, and Gone (Three different books) by Lisa McMann

Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey

Generation Dead by Daniel Waters

have you read Holly Black's stuff?  And I also loooved Strange Angels by Lili St. Crow

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone! I've written them all down and I'm definitely going to look into all of them!

Kayla: I haven't read any of Holly Black's stuff but I'll look into it! =D

Try Sunshine, by Robin McKinley.  A gem.
