Mary Renault wrote a lot of novels based on Greek myth or set in ancient Greece (The Last of the Wine, The Bull from the Sea etc.) and a trilogy about Alexander the Great: Fire from Heaven, The Persian Boy, Funeral Games. Many of them are available here at PBS. I hope you have some credits handy!

BTW, love your avatar!

Diedre,

All you have to do to search a tagmash is click on Search at the top of the page, and then in the field called tags, enter the tags you want to search for: historical ficiton, greece

Make sure you enter it just like that and it will come up with a list of books that contain both the tags you entered. Good luck!

Glad I could be of help. I, too, am a big fan of HF set in Ancient Greece. A lot of the books I listed earlier are on my own WL. I doubt I will ever get some of them, but hey, I've been surprised before!
