So... I feel like I have been living under a rock for the past year or so....and In some ways I have been.  I have been completely out of the loop on the latest romance novels :)  I have had little time for leisure reading and am working on catching up.  I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for new authors they like - I have typically read books from Christie Craig, Lisa Kleypas, Julia Quinn... but would like to check out any new authors...

Susan Sey for fun contemporary.  And I'm finally firmly on the Loretta Chase bandwagon :)

If you like paranormal, Thea Harrison is a new name to try - really good.  Also Nalini Singh, Lara Adrian, JR Ward.

Contemporary - Susan Mallery

Historical - Loretta Chase, Julie Garwood

Some authors I just found in the past year or so and really enjoy are:

Sherry Thomas, Meredith Duran and Emma Wildes for historical romance; and

Julie James, Emily March for contemporaries.

In the last year I'd have to second the Meredith Duran and Emma Wildes recommendations. Plus I love Victoria Dahl's historicals and contemporaries.

I'm really liking Deirdre Martin.  Contemporary books of the NY Blades hockey team and then another series about the Wild Hart a familiy bar.

I have been reading a series by Lynn Kurland about the de Piaget family.  So far Nicholas has been my favorite.
