Obviously written in Capote's younger days, this is a book of lost love and youth. Excellent summer read.

It was unbalanced. But I do like the ending, a little morbid but I believe it fit the book. It was really interesting to learn the history behind the book and the author. All and all it was not a waste of time! Short easy read, great for summer.

You can definitely tell that this novel was written by Truman Capote. He puts all of his heart and soul into his novels. The only thing I did not like about this novel was that I felt incomplete at the end, I wanted more. I understand that this was supposed to be an unpublished manuscript, but I guess I was just hoping for me. You should at least read this and give it a try.
