Excellent narrative on the earlier years of Alienor of Aquitaine. Great character development and descriptive locations - makes you feel as if you are there! I gave this book 5 stars - a fantastic read! This is the first book of a trilogy with the upcoming book titles as follows: The Winter Crown and The Autumn Throne.
