This was a wonderful read!! I recently discovered Mary Balogh and just can't get enough of her books. This will be remembered as one of my favorites. I loved that Lauren, even though she comes to love Kit, does not let that love dictate her choices in life. She remains true to herself.
I could not put this book down until it was finished. It was sad and joyful at the same time. The H/H reluctantly came together to help solve each other's problem, but ended up delving into the depths of their own fears, one of which was falling in love. A comforting read.
