I really liked Maddie from the previous 2 books. Who I didn't like was Leena. Leena was TSTL quite a bit of the time. She did get better by the end. I didn't "get" Leena and Ben. But, oh well! I did like the end- Go Maddie!
I truly enjoyed the Lucky Harbor novels by this author, so maybe my expectations were too high going into this one, but I just didn't connect with the leads. There was action, romance, and resolution, but I just never really got into this story. Maybe the world of luxury airlines and wealthy vindictive relatives was just too far away for me to relate. Fine, but not one for the keeper shelf.
