Ok,  I offered someone who requested one book from me a deal... that if they request one more book, they could pick a 3rd book as a freebie.  They went ahead a requested 2 books.  So that would be 3 credits, instead of 2.... to confuse matters, one of the books she requested I do not have, as I included it as a freebie for someone else and forgot to remove it from my shelf.   I am going to send her a pm explaining what happened and plan to return the credit if she replaces the missing book with another title....  but the question is -  I can't cancel the order as I already accepted it....  I didn't know that the order was from her as she didn't pm me first....and since I accepted, she can't cancel it either.   What do I do??

you should be able to cancel it.  on the books to mail screen I see a cancel this book button right under the book info.

If you cancel it, the system will reorder the book for her from someone else and she may not want it without a deal.  She can cancel the request as long as you haven't printed the label.  If she cancels then it won't reorder the book.

Until you print the wrapper both sender and requestor can cancel the transaction, when the wrapper is printed only "you" can cancel the transaction.  If you printed the wrapper you need to contact the PBS Team (click on Contact Us link at the bottom right of the screen under Company) and ask them to cancel the transaction (just specify that one book and not the other two).

I added where to find the contact us button in case someone that is new reads post and is unsure where to find the Contact Us link.

If you only accepted the request then the Cancel button will be just under the book info as stated before  or to the right of the book cover image.

Thank you.... I never noticed the "cancel" button under the book info....  doh!

Unfortunately I have printed the wrapper..... so I will wait to hear from the requestor to see if she still wants to take advantage of the deal and replace that book with another title.

Should I contact tptb and ask to have the one book removed from the transaction so the request is not passed to the next poster?  (and what do I say)
