One of my WL books came up. I requested it. The other side accepted and marked it mailed. It went lost in the mail today.  I got my credit back. I received notice that my wish for the same book had been granted. I accepted it.  Then find out the person offering it is the same person who originally posted it before and mailed it to me.  How is that possible, unless she never marked it mailed in the first place? I'm considering cancelling it now.  Mind you I never received a PM or anything re mailing the book late, etc.

If you cancel the order you will not be on the Wish List any more. So, don't do that especially if you want the book.

Maybe she mailed it and it came back to her. Maybe she never mailed it. You could always PM her and say "I can't help noticing ..."

Thanks! I'll try contacting her.  I wouldn't think (but am not 100% sure) that if a book you send goes lost in the mail that its automatically restored to your bookshelf.

No, it's not. I meant, maybe she mailed it out and the package was returned to her. She re-posted the book and it was offered to you again.

In any case, for her to offer you the same Wish List book, she would have to post it again, which presumably means she either still has the original book (somehow), or she has a second copy.

It is possible that she had more than one copy of the book.
