I have not ready many of her books, just wondering if anyone else has? What do you think of her?

I just started "Summer at Willow Lake" and from the book cover and other author's comments, i am getting the impression it is part of a series. So far i am enjoying the book, she does seem to write big long stories though.

I loved The Charm School.  Unfortunately, it's the only thing of hers I've read.  I'm thinking that one was such an excellent book, she probably has plenty of others.  The only reason I haven't gotten any of them is because her sensuality ratings tend to be somewhat tamer than I usually care for.  Charm School was a solid R, but I think most of hers tend to be PG.

I thought i read somewhere that Charm School was voted #1 on some romance website for Best Historical Fiction? I should check that one out too.

Summer at Willow Lake is book 1 in The Lakeshore Chronicles series. There are 4 books in the series(and a novella I think) so far with more to come eventually. I would agree that they are not steamy reads. I have read the first 3 and have the 4th in my TBR pile. I thought they were pretty good but I did get annoyed at times with the jumping back and forth between the past and the present. I liked the way the characters carry over from one book to the next.

I am a huge fan of Susan Wiggs and I've yet to read a bad book by her.... I find her older Hist. romance books much better then her later efforts, however they're mostly always great!  Dancing On Air got me started on her... What an amazing find that was.

I think she's starting to branch out to general fiction though... like most romance writers *sad*

Well if anybody knows of anything else by her that's a little more on the steamy side, let me know.  I'll  be there with bells on:P
