One of these books popped up on the home page in that book slideshow thingy, and I was wondering if 1) these are good historical mysteries, and 2) if it's necesary to read them in order. There are three or four of the books in the system here, but not all of them. Anybody read them?

They're pretty good, both my husband and I have enjoyed them.

I've got #2,3 and 4.  Waiting to get the first one (on my WL) before starting the series.  (Why do I do that...I am always getting later books in a series and then spending my life trying to find the 1st one!!)
