Does she live at the same address as you? Is it a new account? If so, it may have been automatically suspended just to confirm it's not a duplicate account.

Does she check in frequently? It could be suspended or inactivated if she didn't check in and missed a couple of orders, either from her shelf or wishlisted books that were offered to her with no response. Sometimes it's as simple as that. Hopefully they will get back to her soon.

She needs to contact the PBS Team.

All she has to do is click on the Contact Us link at the bottom right  of this page, listed under Company.  Then click on the Feedback button. When she finishes with the feedback, don't forget to click the "submit feedback" button.  All replies are sent to you via email, not personal messages.

Good Luck!

I am sure they told her why they removed the credits.  If not, then she should contact them again for a reason.  Everyone else will be speculating.

Well, the rules state that the free credits are one per residence. If she used your account address for delivery, I would imagine that would disqualify her for the two free credits for posting 10 books offer.

It really wouldn't surprise me if there were many many people out there who try to open multiple accounts to get the free credits. I'm sorry that your family situation lead to the appearance of improper use of the site. :(

I didn't mean for you to go into any details. Your post was cryptic, that they reopned her her account, but took the credits away.  PBS and your sister (and you in this case) know why.  Anyone posting to your current post, would only be speculating why the credits would be  taken away and not the real reason, which is not any of our business (IMO).  Simplier post would be Thanks, all sorted, her account was re-opened - leave it at that.

PBS has many ways of tracking accounts for potential fraud/dishonesty.  I wouldn't take it personally, if your sisters account fell into one of those patterns it would have been flagged.  Unfortunately, there are members that do try to scam PBS,

I know  this is hindsight but if your sister contacted PBS and let them know ahead of time that you are supporting each other on everything because of a family situation,  the outcome may have been different.  Maybe not, but the account wouldn't have been suspended.

I am sorry to hear about your dad and I do hope your sister decides to stay with PBS.  Good Luck.

Alot of those notes sent out are automated letters. SO everyone gets the same thing no matter of the situation.

And did she join for free credits or to just enjoy getting books?

To me, the credits are nothing compared to the people I have met and the fun I have had. Book recommendations, and the gift swap at the holiday season.  More to PBS then credits :)
