OK, I've found some items that aren't supposed to be posted to PBS and I marked them in the Suspicious Items thread.  Then I found out that it is considered polite to go back to that thread when the items are removed and edit your post to remove the links so the team will know that the post has been taken care of, and they don't have to do as much research to follow up.

I posted my items at the beginning of this month, and some mid-March.  Every time I go to check on them to see if I should delete them from my post, they are still listed in PBS.  In general, how long does it take for the Suspicious Items reviewers to get around to fixing them?  Do I need to do anything else, such as delete the old post and re-post to get a newer date and possibly bring these to someone's attention?

Or should I just leave it be, and occasionally check back on the thread, as I have been doing?

I've found the same thing this month.  I think they're working on some programming changes, so it's possible that it'll take a bit longer. :-)

This "to check list" is at the bottom of the list of things to do for the HELP DESK. They will work it as they can. From what I understand they will be implementing a way to note when/where they have gotten through the list.  Not sure when this will happen though.

I didn't realize it was considered polite to go back and edit out the post.  I figured they'd do that as they edited out the items--they have to have the thread open anyway to see what's listed there.

The few times I've posted I've never gone back to check.  I figure I make the report then I just leave them alone--if they pull it great, if not so be it.  I didn't think it was something I needed to check up on.
