do we have to have a new member name/password to swap a DVD? Are the credits there included on my existing account for PBS or are they separate?

You have to go over to swapadvd.com and create an account over there. If you want, you can make it have the same name and password, or they can be different. The credits are stored separately over there, but there is an option to transfer credits from swapadvd to paperbackswap or vice versa. All of this also applies to swapacd.com.

Yes, you have to make a seperate account for SwapADVD and SwapACD and they have seperate credit amounts but you can transfer credits between all three accounts. Three PBS credits = Two SwapADVD credits, while One PBS credit = One SwapACD credit.

They are separately maintained accounts, you just have the ability to transfer credits between the two sites. As Erin pointed out, DVD and PBS credits are not equal in value, that's something some members miss when they are transfering and think their PBS credits will transfer equally.

And you can't transfer the initial two start-up credits they give you for joining.
