It was a risky game, spying for English and French intelligence at the same time, but Hester Tredwell would do anything to keep her struggling family out of debtor's prison. But her inventive duplicity was no match for the maneuvers of Marquis of Dartford, who knew she was a double agent and longed to uncover her deepest secrets.

Great Read - good plot, believable characters! Will be reading more by Angie Ray!

It was a risky game, spying for English and French intelligence at the same time, but Hester Tredwell would do anything to keep her struggling family out of debtor's prison. Her inventive duplicity was no match for the boldly seductive maneuvers of handsome Nichlas, Marquess of Dartford, however, who awakened both passion and treachery in Hester's own heart.
It came as no surprise to Nicholas that the dowdy Miss Tredwell was the devilishly clever double agent who was unwittingly placing England
at the mercy of Napoleon's forces. But the closer he drew to apprehending her, the more he hungered to uncover her deepest secrets---and capture a love that could prove to be her downfall.
